Zeynep Boz is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in training who earned her Master’s degree from Georgia State University, with a focus on play therapy. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).

Zeynep is passionate about supporting children and families through the transformative power of play. She believes play is a child’s natural language—allowing them to express big feelings, process challenges, and build confidence in a way that feels safe, authentic, and empowering. Her counseling approach is rooted in Adlerian and attachment-based theories, prioritizing connection, encouragement, and resilience.

She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where children feel truly seen and understood, and where caregivers feel welcomed and included in the therapeutic journey. Zeynep meets each family with compassion, curiosity, and creativity.

In addition to her work with children, Zeynep has experience supporting teens and young adults navigating life’s challenges, including crisis, suicidal ideation, abuse, grief, and other significant stressors. Through her work within a school system, she gained experience supporting kids and teens of all ages facing a wide range of difficulties. She is also certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Suicide to Hope.

In her free time, you can find Zeynep walking with her dog, exploring creative hobbies, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, cheering on her favorite Georgia teams.

Zeynep is under the supervision of Rebekah Jones, LPC, CPCS.
