Psychological Evaluations

Available for Children, Adolescents, and Adults

GROW Counseling is pleased to offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals ages 8 and older, with a primary focus on identifying learning disorders,  Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other mood related disorders that may be impacting functioning and well-being (see list of standard assessment measures below). Brief ADHD and Autism screeners, with individualized recommendations, are also offered to adults who are interested in diagnostic clarification but do not require academic or workplace accommodations.

These evaluations are designed to provide a thorough understanding of an individual’s cognitive, academic, attentional, and emotional functioning. Through a combination of standardized testing, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations, we aim to uncover each client’s unique strengths and challenges.

The information gathered from these assessments can be used to support a variety of needs:

  • For school-aged clients, evaluations can help guide IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) or 504 Plans, as well as provide targeted recommendations for classroom accommodations and learning strategies.

  • For older clients, such as college students or working professionals, the evaluations can support academic accommodations, standardized testing modifications, or workplace support.

  • In addition, we provide personalized recommendations for use at home to help parents, caregivers, or individuals better manage symptoms and support learning and attention in everyday settings.

Each evaluation includes a comprehensive written report that outlines findings and provides clear, practical, and individualized recommendations. Our goal is to ensure that individuals, families, and educators are equipped with the insights and tools needed to foster success both in and out of the classroom / workplace.
