Specializations - Anxiety, Life Stage Transition, Career Development, Parenting, Relationships, Teens

Before transitioning to the field of counseling, Jill had extensive experience working with individuals, groups and teams in a variety of business organizations. She understands the unique pressures that working professionals face both in the workplace and at home. She helped to lead an executive team of high performing individuals and focused broadly on leadership development, and specifically on the way that personality variables and strengths impact the individual insight as well as the team cohesion.

After receiving an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, Jill has continued to focus her work on the challenges that working professionals face – stress management, balancing work demands with home life, navigating personality, and family of origin issues which impact workplace performance. Her work on the team side has involved leadership development, strategic planning, and training for corporate teams. She has experience working with clients who struggle with feelings of isolation stemming either from career, stage of life transitions, or social circumstances.

Jill also has experience using creative arts to help clients increase self-awareness, social skills, self-esteem, and personal management abilities. Jill enjoys working with couples who are approaching engagement or who have recently become engaged and are looking to strengthen their relationship pre-marriage.

Prior to her counseling career, Jill studied art history at American University in her hometown of Washington, D.C.
