The College Experience
This group provides a place to connect with others and learn more about what you can expect out of the college experience. Throughout this 8 week class, we will be discussing topics such as time management, roommates, stress, substance use, deciding your major, conflict resolution, budgeting & finances, peer pressure, self care, choosing your social group and more.The goal for this class is to provide high school, current and prospective college students with the tools that you will need to succeed in college and get the most out of your experience. Whether you have a judicial requirement to meet or you’ve decided on your own that it’s time to take some much needed steps toward gaining control of your anger our therapists will work with you to meet your needs. New Mom’s Group
Are you a new mom? Adjusting to a baby? Trying to find balance having two kids? Working a schedule around toddlers? This group is for you. We will cover topics such as balance, self care, parenting, meeting your needs, and managing stress.
Whether you are parenting a toddler or a teen this group is for you. We will cover topics such as setting and maintaining boundaries, cultivating good habits, goal setting, behavior management, dealing with stress, and communication, just to name a few.
Whether you are seeking a job due to being laid off, recently entering the world of work, or as the result of a life transition this is the group for you.
Body Image & Self-Esteem Group
Do you wish you felt better about yourself? Are you unhappy with your body? Are you looking for ways to develop more compassion and appreciation for yourself? This group provides a safe place to connect with others who are struggling with similar issues. We will explore the impact our culture has on the development of body image and self esteem, as well as, cast a vision for what a healthy view of oneself might look like. Discussion will be combined with hands on activities for self-exploration, self-nurturing, and self-acceptance. You will learn to move away from unhelpful thinking and behaviors and cultivate a positive relationship with yourself and your body.
Deceased Pet Care Group
This new support group will be held on the first Tuesday of each month beginning June 5, 2012, from 7:30 pm — 8:30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Community Room on the second floor of the Chamblee Funeral Home at 4991 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341. This is a FREE group, designed to provide support for adult pet parents who have experienced the loss of a beloved pet. Feel free to just show up, or register to be kept up on important information.

This group is an ongoing process group for women who are looking for encouragement and skills in relationships, boundaries, communication, etc.
Pornography and Gaming Addictions
If you have found yourself struggling with pornography or gaming, this group is designed for you. It is a discrete group that will provide support as well as helpful techniques for overcoming addiction and living in freedom.
