Amanda is a graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine where she earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Amanda gained valuable clinical experience working with patients and families at Piedmont Hospital, in the Radiation Oncology Unit. She also obtained experience working with individuals, couples, and families with a wide-range of presenting issues at the Mercer Family Therapy Center. Her extensive training and clinical experience have prepared her well to work with clients of all ages.

Amanda is originally from Macon, GA. She attended the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. During her time as an undergraduate, Amanda gained experience working with young children and adolescents at the Dee Norton Low Country Children’s Center, which provides therapy and healthcare to children who have been abused. While she obtained her Master’s in Atlanta, Amanda gained experience with children and families through her job as a full-time nanny, as well as, volunteer work with the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Amanda is an associate member of Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
